Ingredients:

- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
For the Toasted Bread:
- 4 slices of French bread or baguette
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Make the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
- Heat the oil and butter: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter melts.
- Cook the garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly in the seasoning and garlic butter.
- Cook the shrimp: Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink, opaque, and cooked through.
- Finish with lemon juice: If desired, squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the shrimp to add freshness and extra flavor.
- Garnish: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the shrimp before serving.
